Inspiring Fabrics

This is a luscious velvet and linen combo called Serenade
Ok, I admit it.  I LOVE seeing new fabric lines.  I’m always excited to see what’s new and imagine ways I can use them to make my clients’ (and my own!) home beautiful.
Recently I attended a seminar at the Donghia showroom at the Merchandise Mart.  Designer Lori Weitzner was introducing her new line of fabrics, and it was a thrill to see them and hear about Lori’s inspiration and determination to bring beautiful fabrics from all over the world to her line.
While you won’t see a lot of bold colors – they’re more subtle and subdued (except for one) –  what you will see are fabulous textures and gorgeous, unique patterns.  Here are more of my favorites:
This one is called "Ophelia" and is all linen. It has a fabulous feel!
This next one is a punchy red and a sort of accordion fold texture.  Crisp, yet interesting!
Isn't it fun?
This is a beautiful, sophisticated fabric perfect for sheers!
Which are your favorites? You can find out more about Lori Weitzman fabrics and wallpapers at the Donghia Showroom at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart or visit her website at:  www.weitznerlimited.com
